I have been a teacher at St. Joseph since 1999. I am a graduate of Kent State University with a BS in Elementary Education, grades 1-8. After graduation I worked for two years in the Akron Public School as a math and reading specialist. I then moved to Webster Springs, WV, where I taught 5th grade for 12 years.
In 1998, I returned to my hometown area to raise my four children. I currently reside in Stow with my two youngest boys. They are in high school and college. My oldest son lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he manages a Big Lots store. My daughter resides and works in Cuyahoga Falls.
Here at St. Joseph, I taught 6th grade and 5-8th grade science for 10 years. Then in 2009, I became the 8th grade teacher and continue to teach science to 4-8th grade, as well as 8th grade U.S History and Language Arts.
